BAKE

The Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) is constantly working to foster and promote good relations among bloggers. As the blogging community grows, so does the need to reach out to all bloggers and encourage bloggers to get to know each other and work together. BAKE has been carrying out training to ensure that bloggers can be able to maximize on their blog potential. With this in mind, BAKE is introducing Kenya Blog Camp.

Kenya Blog Camp is a 2-day conference that will be held at Cray Fish Camp in Naivasha from 12th – 14th December 2014. The camp will allow bloggers to meet offline while imparting blogging tips, social media skills, as well other technical skills. BAKE intends to hold the camp every year under a theme informing the nature of activities carried out that year. The first Blog Camp will run with the theme “Blogging as a Business”

Developers, artists, designers and those interested in online content generation will come together for talks, workshops and presentations on blogging from well-known bloggers and social media influencers, online content creation and publishing on the web. They will also get to network, be involved in team building activities and hopefully form lasting relationships. There will also be an opportunity for performances where creatives can showcase their talents in an evening of bonfire, storytelling and sharing.

Tickets for the camp are now available with limited spaces for those interested. Tickets are goimg for Kshs. 3,500 for BAKE Members and Kshs. 4,500 for non-members. They can be purchased through M-PESA Paybill Number 865850. The Account Number/Name is CAMP.
