If you’re like me, you probably spend a lot of time on your phone. I go pretty much everywhere with mine and it’s helped not only stay connected, but find out about and take advantage of a myriad of opportunities. One of the things I started doing last year to get the most out of apps on my phone, was to research those that could help me be better organized in my life. Here are the 5 that have stood out for me and could prove useful for you.

1. Period Tracker

I sometimes forget when my period is and it creeps up on me. Period Tracker helps me keep track of my cycle and reproductive health and is pretty accurate.

2. Calm

Stress is a normal part of life but managing it poorly isn’t. Calm not only helps me well, calm down when I am having a stressful day, but also helps me sleep better and focus better at work. The app is free but has some premium subscriptions. I have to insist here though that if you are experiencing more than the usual stress and it’s starting to become a serious problem, you should consider seeing a therapist or a psychologist.

3. Evernote

Evernote is my number one organizational app. I don’t think I can live without it. It syncs across my devices and I am able to keep track of my to do lists and projects. It’s easy to use and one of the best things I’m glad I discovered a few years ago. I have found similar apps to Evernote like Bear, but they are unfortunately, only available for iOS.

4. Last Pass

Last Pass helps me generate strong passwords, store passwords for sites and allows me to securely share passwords among other amazing benefits. There is a free version, but I upgraded to the $2 per month account that gives added benefits like priority tech support and 1GB encrypted file storage.

5. Pocket

I am guilty of opening a million tabs especially on my phone and not having enough time to read them all. Pocket, previously known as Read It Later, takes care of that by allowing me to save articles. I can then close tabs and can read the articles offline on the app, as well as share and recommend articles and follow other people to see the articles they recommend. Pretty nifty!

What apps are a must have on your phone that help you stay organized? Do share with me in the comments! Here’s to staying organized and focused.
