The 5th edition of Nairobi Restaurant Week is set to run from Thursday 25th January to Sunday 4th January. NRW spotlights the city’s colourful culinary scene which brings together over 75 sit-down restaurants across the city offering great food for 12 days. I’ve been an enthusiastic supporter of NRW since the beginning and I must say that it has mostly lived up to expectations.

During the course of the NRW, restaurants will offer fixed menus for lunch and dinner. Restaurants have designed fixed priced menus which will be posted on individual restaurant pages on the EatOut website & app, with lunch prices from Ksh 1,000 and dinner prices from Ksh 2,000. EatOut App users can claim a complimentary drink or a 15% discount on their bill at certain participating NRW restaurants. Offers vary from restaurant to restaurant and only one offer can be claimed at any one time.

To promote responsible drinking, EatOut has this year partnered with Taxify in order to offer discounted taxi rides to and from restaurants. The rides will be redeemable using a voucher code.

One lucky person will win the chance to join the EatOut team in Istanbul exploring a variety of traditional and street foods while exploring Istanbul’s Old City back streets surrounding the famous Spice Bazaar and Grand Bazaar courtesy of Turkish Airlines.  To qualify, simply post your restaurant photos on instagram with the hashtag #NRW2018. This prize does not include accommodation.
