6 Great Kenyan Natural Soap Brands Worth Checking Out
Natural ingredients are becoming the go to for a lot of us when it comes to our skincare and haircare. One of the products that’s especially gained popularity is soap made out of natural ingredients. These soaps tend to be great for both the skin and hair and are available in so many different ingredient combinations. I love this trend and already converted to using all natural soaps in my routine. There are so many natural hair and beauty brands coming up every day which is amazing and I’ve put together a list of 8 of my favourite Kenyan brands that make natural soap.
Bu.Ke
Bu.Ke (formerly known as Shea by Asal) has been a favourite for years. They probably have the biggest variety of soaps that can be used for the skin as well as shampoo bars. My go to bars from them are the activated charcoal bar and the shea butter bar. They also have turmeric, sage and clay, honey oats and ylang ylang and hibiscus, honey and cinammon oil bar among other great options.
Mugzie’s Naturals
Mugzie’s Naturals is my favourite brand when it comes to butters and oils and I basically have everything from them. They also stock a bentonite clay soap that I prefer over the powder. Bentonite clay has been used for generations to remove toxins from the skin and body and works well to give you even, blemish free skin.
Akusi Organics
Akusi Organics has a great variety of soaps. My favourites are the coffee scrub and avocado soap. They also have banana soap, beer soap and the soaps come in regular and mini sizes.
Cinnabar Green
Cinnabar Green have such a wonderful variety of natural hair and beauty products and the soaps are no exception. They have everything from thyme and bergamot, lemon and citrus to lavender and honey and geranium and chamomile soap.
Zene Naturals
Zene Naturals have a good selection of soaps that inlcudes their citrus splash made of lemon oil and geranium and their paradise soap made with lavender oil that’s good for those with acne and eczema.
Liku by Squeezie
Liku by Squeezie are a brand I discovered recently and I am so glad I did. I love their beeswax and oatmeal soap. They also have a mango papaya soap, cocoa chocolate caramel soap, coconut shea soap and spice soap that has extra virgin coconut oil, cinnamon, ginger, clove and essential oils.
