Strata

The Kenyan film industry has been growing steadily over the years. One man that has been at the center of this growth is renowned scriptwriter and director, Cajetan Boi. Cajetan has written and directed several films over the years such as ‘Benta’ and ‘All Girls Together’. His latest film is ‘Strata’ and is premiering Friday August 22nd at Alliance Francaise.

Strata is an action film and stars well known Kenyan actors, Gilbert Lukalia, Veronica Waceke, Sabina Stadler and Amin Virani Elchie. The premier will kick off at 7pm with cocktails, autograph signings and photo opportunities followed by the film screening from 8pm to 9.30pm. Premier tickets are going for Kshs 1000 and bookings can be made through the number 0715013231.

Other screenings will be on the 23rd and 24th of August at Kshs 200 per person and Kshs 100 for students . The shows will be 2pm-3.30pm and 5pm -6:30pm. There will be a discussion on aspects of low budget and high quality film making will follow after the screenings.
