Utama Spice Skincare Products Review

My skincare routine has become really important to me as I’ve become more aware of its importance. I have been open to trying out new products to discover more of what works and what I like. 

I got a bunch of products from Utama Spice, an organic handmade skin care company based in Ubud, Bali that creates products using traditional herbal knowledge. I’ve never been to Bali, but I was happy to get a little of it in skincare products.

I’ve been using the products for a month now, and here’s my experience.

Temu – Temu Face Mask

This face mask contains antioxidants and anti- inflammatory components of turmeric. Turmeric reduces scarring, maintains skin elasticity and brings out the skin’s natural glow. It can be used for both face and body and is made with 100% pure volcanic clay.

I’ve loved the soothing properties of this cleaning mask, and my skin’s glow has been unmistakable. It’s quickly become my favourite mask, and a big part of my weekly self-care routine.

Wellkiss and Peppermint Lip Balms

Lip care is such an important part of skincare, and I’ve taken to using organic products for my lips. I was glad to see that Utama Spice has great lip balms and I got two.

Wellkiss contains coconut oil, beeswax, citrus leaf extract, fennel seed oil, lemon oil and lavender oil. The peppermint lip balm has coconut oil, beeswax, peppermint leaf and peppermint oil. They smell as good as they sound and are lovely on the lips.

Face Serum

This serum has argan oil and jojoba oil. It’s really great for ageing skin as it improves elasticity which is essential to prevent ageing skin. Argan oil boosts cell production to promote healthy skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and keeping skin hydrated, while jojoba oil restores a youthful glow and fades age spots.

It’s 100% natural ingredients with essential oils that hydrate and soothe. 

Tropical Flower Body Butter

This body butter smells like a vacation and I love it. It’s a mood lifting blend of Ylang-Ylang and vanilla with coconut oil and aloe vera. 

The body butter is delicious and will have you smelling like a tropical island. It’s really that good.

I got some other products as well that looked great.

Natural Shampoo

This shampoo is 100% natural and has cocoa butter and coconut oil. It’s a hair repair concoction that works great especially if you have damaged hair from relaxer or dye.

Yoga Mat Spray

This spray has ethanol and essential oils to keep your yoga mat clean and fresh. I’ve been doing a lot of yoga and it’s been amazing to have a product that works like a dream.

For shipping of the products, I used the post office and got my products two weeks later. It was mostly seamless and I got the products in good condition. I love the products from Utama Spice and I can’t wait to get more to try out.
