NRW 2015

Nairobi is quickly becoming a foodie’s paradise. The demand for fantastic cuisine is growing pushed by discerning foodie population. Restaurant Week is a tradition in other cities around the world such as New York, Tokyo, Cape Town, Johannesburg among many others. The first Nairobi Restaurant Week was held in 2014 and was a resounding success.

2015 sees the return of Nairobi Restaurant Week with 50 restaurants taking part. NRW is organized by Taste Events Limited and sponsored by Magnum Cream Liqueur. Other sponsors include EatOut, FRESH chewing gum, Rupu, Travel Start Kenya and Viva Global.

The participating restaurants have special fixed menus that will see patrons get 3 course meals for lunch or dinner at a fixed charge of Ksh. 1500 or Ksh. 2000. Some restaurants are also offering a 2 course option for lunch for Ksh. 1000.

Nairobi Restaurant Week runs from 22nd January to 1st February 2015. All patrons will receive a complimentary Magnum cocktail with dinner. Uber, the taxi company, is also offering free rides to patrons during the week to the various restaurants taking part in NRW 2015.
