Nairobi Nocturnes Exhibition to Open at Kuona Trust

“Nairobi Nocturnes” is a series of atmospheric, figurative paintings by current Kuona Trust artist in residence, Stavros Pavlides.

The paintings present various open-ended narratives using Nairobi city by night as a muse. Prompted initially by Nairobi’s ominous night-time reputation, Stavros Pavlides wishes to examine, interpret, and comment on perceptions of the city through the highly subjective ‘lens’ of painting.

The exhibition opens on March 19th 2015 at 6pm with an opening cocktail and runs till April 2nd.
