Winners of the 2015 BAKE Kenyan Blog Awards Feted

The 2015 BAKE Kenyan Blog Awards took place on Saturday May 2nd at the Intercontinental Hotel. The awards reward bloggers that post on a regular basis and have great and useful content presented in a creative and innovative format. Nominees for the awards were announced on 2nd March with voting running until 30th April 2015 and were selected by a panel of judges comprising of bloggers and media personalities. The judges this year were Philip Mwaniki, Lynda Nyangweso, Mbugua Njihia, Joel Macharia and Ahmed Salim.

There were a number of surprises with new blogs taking home the win like buoart.com in the photography category and kenyabusinessideas.com in the business category. Pikachakula.com and techmoran.com both managed to win for the third time in a row in the food and technology categories respectively. Silvia Njoki was the biggest winner of the night though, taking home the fashion blog award as well as the biggest award of the night, Kenyan Blog of the Year.The winners in the 18 categories this year were:
