The iconic K1 Clubhouse turned 21 this past weekend and celebrated in style with a 3 day mini festival. The festival was in partnership with Tusker, and featured some of the best DJs and artistes.

The music was fantastic and was a journey through time with great throwbacks from the 90s and 2000s getting the crowd going.

Fena Gitu, H_art the Band performed during the Nai’fest Special Birthday Edition on Friday, Gogosimo and Gravitti Band headlined the Saturday Social Special Edition while Eric Wainaina, Nameless, DJ Adrian, DJ Hypnotique, CNG and the Untamed Band brought the Sunday Flea Market and the Karibu Party to a close.

Speaking during the famous Sunday Flea Market, Sammy Kahama, Group director of Kahama said, “The lineup selection is made up of some of the artists who have been part of our family and have in one way or another impacted the business and have walked the journey together with us”.

K1 was jam packed during the festival, a testament to its popularity and endurance. Here’s to many more years of this icon of Kenyan nightlife and arts culture.
