Sikera Premium Apple Cider Launch

The glamor and glitz filled Tamarind Tree Nairobi for the most anticipated event of the year – Sikera Premium Apple Cider launch. The event was attended by renowned influencers, top celebrities, and media personalities. Sikera is the latest innovative product from Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL).

I was in attendance and it was hands down one of the best events I’ve been to. The setup was beautiful and embodied the brand perfectly – classy, confident and fun.

Featuring plush couches and plenty of instagrammable places, including a gorgeous bar setup, the vibes were perfection.

Guests were treated to cider cocktails – gin, cider and cranberry juice to whet our appetites for the real thing. There was also lots of delicious food, and I was glad I wore a loose fitting maxi dress.

The DJ played lots of 90s music and Nvirii the Storyteller and Bensoul put on great performances.

When it comes to taste, Sikera is refreshing and balanced. The sugar I find to be off-putting in some ciders in the market is replaced by distinct apple taste. It’s not too dry or too sweet and manages to find a good middle.

Available in bars and restaurants – and best served chilled, Sikera Premium Apple Cider comes in a 300ml bottle pack with an ABV of 4.5 percent and at a recommended price (RRP) of Kshs 150.
