A Taste of What’s New at Park Inn By Radisson Westlands

Park Inn by Radisson opened in Nairobi in 2017 and is located in Westlands, right off the A104 motorway and about 22 kilometers from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi.

Park Inn by Radisson Westlands is a colorful, dynamic, midscale hotel. Featuring 140 rooms, Live-Inn Restaurant and The Attic Rooftop Bar, the hotel is designed for modern travellers.

Park Inn by Radisson Westlands recently revamped their menu at the Live-Inn restaurant, and I had the opportunity to have a taste of what’s new.

The Live-Inn Restaurant

Live-Inn is the definition of a modern style restaurant. Colourful, casually chic with the ambiance of a café meets bistro, Live-Inn is perfect for a chill experience.

I had been to Live-Inn before and liked the food and ambiance and was looking forward to see what was new.

I kicked off the night with screwdriver cocktails and stayed with that till dinner was served, when I switched to Chardonnay.

The Menu

I had a 3 course dinner and it was lovely. The menu has added some delicious dishes and these are some of my favourites:

Smoked salmon and avocado salad with pickled fennel and beetroot and toasted bread.

This starter is absolutely delicious. Bursting with flavour and surprisingly filling, this is one dish I’d order again and again.

Pan seared salmon with mashed potatoes.

I know, I already had salmon as my starter, but I enjoyed it so much that I decided to have it again in the mains.

This version is pan seared and with the mashed potatoes, is what elevated comfort food should be.

Passion fruit iced parfait with passion fruit compote.

A perfect ending to a delicious dinner. I’m not the biggest sweet tooth so this dessert works well for me.

The Attic Rooftop Bar

The Attic has the same casual chic ambiance that Live-Inn has and is ideal for a casual drink.

The cocktail menu is quite extensive with all the popular favourites from mojitos to long islands.
