I am the Queen of procrastination. Seriously, I am so good at it that if it were an Olympic sport, I’d win gold. I am a perfectionist and I have had to temper my need to get everything perfect every single time as it has led to stagnation and anxiety. It’s taken me years but I  have finally gotten a working system. My procrastination is mingled with fear and insecurities. I have managed to move past that by focusing on getting things done. My mantra is, ”Do the damn thing!” I say this to myself every time I find myself doubting myself or finding an excuse to not do something especially when it’s something challenging, unfamiliar and there’s a chance I will fail. Life is too short to keep second-guessing yourself and to stay afraid indoors because you are afraid of a little rain. I want to live a life I can look back on and I can be proud of.
